The US military was meant for better things than to consist of a handful of dizzy mental patients, manning rowboats with blunderbusses, wearing tri-corner hats in the 21st century modified to include beanie propellers, uncontrollably rolling their eyeballs, waving "letters of marque and reprisal" and otherwise manning the slingshots (much more economical than nuclear boomers) while rowing toward Afghanistan or Perfidia or wherever.
