The EDL, he and they are seen by many here (despite UK freepers telling them otherwise) as heroes against the Muslim hordes. When in fact many in the EDL are nothing but extreme rightwing thugs, with links to soccer hooliganism and/or neo-nazis and most of course are ex-BNP, who are a racist and antisemitic party with neo-nazi/holocaust denial fetishes.

Well, they’re better than the Tories (Labor doesn’t even get a dishonorable mention) and the current Chancellor of Germany has at least as sordid of a past, so don’t count him out yet.
