The Pentagon has decided to extend certain benefits to the spouses of gay and lesbian personnel, according to officials and people notified about the decision, responding to the increasingly vocal appeals of same-sex couples in the military.
The military expects to announce the decision this week.

Wait. I completely forgot about that. How could this policy, accepting gay marriage, even be become legal in the military since DOMA is still the law of the land? Just like in the case of immigration, this chief executive chooses to enforce or violate laws at will. Simply, unbelievable!
My prediction is the spineless republicans will vote to lift DOMA, right along with the democrats. There is no difference at all in the parties anymore. I have voted for my last republican. The party should be dissolved. If they went along with allows sodomites in the military, they will go along with letting queers get “married”.
