'Judge, jury and executioner': Legal experts fear implications of White House drone memo
NBC News ^ | 2/05/13 | Erin McClam

Legal experts expressed grave reservations Tuesday about an Obama administration memo concluding that the United States can order the killing of American citizens believed to be affiliated with al-Qaida — with one saying the White House was acting as “judge, jury and executioner.”

The experts said that the memo, first obtained by NBC News, threatened constitutional rights and dangerously expanded the definition of national self-defense and of what constitutes an imminent attack.

“Anyone should be concerned when the president and his lawyers make up their own interpretation of the law or their own rules,” said Mary Ellen O’Connell, a law professor at the University of Notre Dame and an authority on international law and the use of force.

What’s to worry about. I for one cannot remember a single instance of Obama abusing his executive privilege or using his authority in an inappropriate manner.

Business as usual in the Obama Regime. Do we think this will awaken the sleeping Media giant? Nah! They will still report whatever Obama wants them to say and cover for him at every turn. I suspect this was something they simply couldn’t ignore. We will see how quickly the story disappears from the news reporting.

Of course O is acting contrary to all known law, the U S Constitution, International Law, etc.

But the media and Congress support him, or are afraid of him (same thing).

But the folks in W’s administration who simply wrote legal “opinions” about whether “waterboarding” crossed the line into “torture” were hounded by Holder’s out-of-control Just-us department for many months and threatened with prosecution, picketed in their jobs, etc. For what? Their opinion? As accessories?

But indiscriminate murder, over sovereign borders, even against U S Citizens, seems to now be OK if performed by a Nobel Peace Prize “winner”. (Of course it is not OK)

This is the end of U S media, the so-called 4th Estate. The puppets place holders are despicable.

Pentagon working with FAA to open U.S. airspace to combat drones

February 13, 2012

The military says the nearly 7,500 robotic aircraft it has accrued for use overseas need to come home at some point. But the FAA doesn’t allow drones in U.S. airspace without a special certificate...

Imagine how they’d be erupting at MSNBC if George W. Bush had written that memo, and it had appeared just before the 2004 election.

If Obama, our resident Utopian Fascist, shoots at The People, he is in for a surprise.

Return fire will be an understatement.

They were “righteously indigent” about water-boarding. They call all “enhanced interrogation” techniques “torture” (even though water-boarding, etc. isn’t “torture” under any international laws). They went nutz over the college-initiation pranks pulled on prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. Yet — by their silence they condone actually killing people remotely, by drone. Not just people, but American citizens!

Not just “hypocrites”, they’re: phony, dissembling, caviling, fraudulent, deceptive, sanctimonious, self-righteous, two-faced, lying hypocrites.

As long as he murders an American the liberals hate, the media, and both political parties will be all for murdering Americans at home. Even if Americans did not want him murdering people here, it would never be mentioned nor acknowledged.
