With such a dismal view of flawed humankind, which I infer you must imagine randomly sprang from the Godless muck, what gives you any hope for a brighter future or the optimism to be a conservative? You may as well become a Socialist if there is no higher answerable power than flawed mankind or yourself. To me, a short, miserable, “Life sucks and then you die” existence isn’t much to look forward to. I’ll pursue freedom and enjoy my happy “delusion” of a greater existence ahead; if I’m wrong, then none of it will matter to me when I’m dead.
So, kindly allow me to rephrase my comment. Man is indeed God's greatest creation but my point is more about semantics than anything else. "Greatest" implies the uppermost maximum limit of degree. Man may very well be, up to this point, God's "greatest" creation and within such confines,I don't disagree. My point is,while Man may very well be God's greatest creation in terms of the current state of existence of physical, biological, cerebral complexity, certainly Man's innumerable flaws speaks for themselves in Man not being the "greatest" within God's infinite capacity to have made Man as a much improved-upon "greater" version.
