They may get the thirty pieces of silver but parents will vote with their feet, their time, and their children’s attendance.

Perhaps it is time to start demandming resignation petitions.

First they issue a statement as a group not as individuals.

Second they are not getting tons of donations from gays. They have a clear “no gay” policy, this is a no-brainer they aren’t getting donations from pro-gay groups or individual gays.

Third, gays are not going after businesses for donations to the scouts. Not nearly as much as to have BSA consider letting gays into scouts. The lack of stories in the libtard media is evidence (or lack of) because this stuff is what they live to print.

Fourth if that means donations go down, that means you make do with less and ask more from the donors that are with you. And plan additional fundraising events.

I think you need to get some numbers to show if they stay “no gay” will seriously hurt them. That’s the whole crux of your position and you have nothing to back it up except speculation. Since you’ve set your whole argument on money you ought to have some evidence that backs your claim.

For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, providing its youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. In the past two weeks, Scouting has received an outpouring of feedback from the American public. It reinforces how deeply people care about Scouting and how passionate they are about the organization.

After careful consideration and extensive dialogue within the Scouting family, along with comments from those outside the organization, the volunteer officers of the Boy Scouts of America’s National Executive Board concluded that due to the complexity of this issue, the organization needs time for a more deliberate review of its membership policy.

To that end, the National Executive Board directed its committees to further engage representatives of Scouting’s membership and listen to their perspectives and concerns. This will assist the officers’ work on a resolution on membership standards. The approximately 1,400 voting members of the National Council will take action on the resolution at the National Annual Meeting in May 2013.

The obvious move should be to purge the board leadership of the Gay supporters and announce a policy of not accepting corporate monies. Instead, they should make a direct appeal for folks to make direct contributions of monies to the BSA and not thru their places of employment. The BSA fears the loss of funds more than the loss of moral posture. They took corporate monies and they became slaves to the corporations’ political whims!

If its become about the fear of a loss of corporate funding, then the BSA might as well close up shop!

local councils should start taking and anouncing votes that if the policy changes they are out.

lets wait and see, is what the BOD was BEGGING the local troups to do.

No is the time to be prepared.

Vote on the local level to reject any endangering change.
Vote to demand the resignation of the two instigators.
Bind the 1400 voting members to vote the way the membership wants by passing a binding voting resolution.
