Feds: Killer of 2 NYC officers impregnated guard
NEW YORK (AP) — A federal prison guard was charged Tuesday with having an illegal affair with an inmate convicted in one of New York's most notorious police killings, later becoming pregnant with his child.
Nancy Gonzalez, 29, was arrested on charges she intentionally engaged in a sex act with Ronell Wilson while working the night shift at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. She became pregnant in June, a few months into the affair, according to court papers. Gonzalez appeared in court Tuesday visibly pregnant and crying, her hair pulled back in a ponytail, and was released on $150,000 bond.
"She's had a very tragic life," said her attorney, Anthony Rico. "She has long-term issues that affected her life and judgment."

Every so often these NYC prison guards are getting themselves into trouble, and sometimes I wonder whether there’s much difference between some of the guards and the prisoners.
A lot of contraband exists in prisons, and I find it hard to believe that it’s getting through without some guards on the take.
I hope she wasn’t trained at Lackland..... G-d help this country.
Taking that into consideration would be considered racial discrimination. Come on, we’re talking about New York here.

There are absolutely no . . . no differences in the capabilities of the men and women. . .
The irony of this situation is that sodomy would have been a plus here - if this had been sex between a consenting male prison guard and a cop killer, there would have been no innocent child at issue here.
In WA state we had a female prison guard killed by an inmate.

She said she “kind of got sucked into his world,” and that she “felt like, well, why not give him a child as far as giving him some kind of hope.”
She confessed her relationship with Wilson to a different boyfriend, another inmate who had been under her supervision at the federal prison but is now housed at a state facility.
So she became a maximum-security prison guard to meet guys?
What chance does the woman’s baby have, unless adopted by a good family?? What a horror for that kid otherwise. Daddy’s a lifer and two-time cop killer, and mom’s the corrupt guard who couldn’t get enough of the two-time cop killer.
