Christie to ex-White House doctor: 'Shut up'

. Chris Christie lashed out Wednesday at a former White House doctor who said she worries about the governor dying in office because he is so heavy, telling her to "shut up."

Dr. Connie Mariano, who served as White House physician from 1992 to 2001, told CNN she'd like to see Christie run for president in 2016 but that he needs to lose weight. She said she worries he could have a heart attack or stroke.

"I'm worried about this man dying in office," the doctor, who has a practice in Scottsdale, Ariz., told the network.

During a visit Wednesday to a shore town devastated by Superstorm Sandy, Christie was asked about the doctor's comments.

Unless Mariano gives him a physical exam and learns his family history, "she should shut up," the governor said.

Wait, this was Slick Willie’s doctor? Shouldn’t she stick to STDs?

Andy Griffeth show:
Andy asks Barney how much he weighed, Barney said, “It varied, 138, 138 1/2...”

Actually, one of the areas Obama has been most forthcoming is on his drug use, though that’s probably only because he published his memoirs before he knew he could be president. They’ve covered his smoking up a bit, but I do remember him talking about how hard it is for him to quit, though it was dressed up in familiar “my wife wears the pants” politician-speak.

I don’t think John Candy was an alcoholic like John Goodman is/was.

Crispy is 50 years old and morbidly obese. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out he’s headed for the big one. He’ll be lucky if he’s still alive to run in 2016.

Doc is not much on statistics; far more cardiac victims are thin as rails than fat.

(but I wouldn’t want to guarantee his shoes)

.
Myth!

My father’s late life wife (after Mom died) finally died at 96; she was 6’ tall and 355 lbs.

“My father’s late life wife (after Mom died) finally died at 96; she was 6’ tall and 355 lbs.”

One in a million.

Take Crispy and then add the mega stress of the Presidency and he will be lucky to last 6 months.

I wouldn’t vote for the guy if he weighed 160 because I disagree with 95% of his stands on issues but I also would not vote for him because he is unhealthy.

No, she’s typical.

Bigger = stronger in most cases, except those that got big due to type 2 diabetes.

Crispy lives a long, arduous schedule, and has all of his life. He’d be far more dangerous than the monkey too.

Dr. Connie Mariano, who served as White House physician from 1992 to 2001.

Meaning ... she's B.J. CLINTON's hand-picked doctor!

Hired to cover up for B.J.'s, ahem, "health" record.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but my memory is that Clinton fired the long-time, non-partisan White House doctor so he could hire this shill.

And I believe Clinton was the first president since Kennedy (?) to refuse to release his health records.

Not that I'm defending RINO Christie, blechh.

There’s big and there’s fat. Fat equals unhealthy and at risk for life threatening conditions. Crispy is just morbidly obese and sadly in total denial.

I was re-watching C.H.U.D. on NetFlix last night and Goodman popped up as a cop in a diner. He was much thinner than his Rosanne days. He does look a lot better now.

Yes. It’s funny that they have similar haircuts and poses and were both around the White House in the Clinton years.
