Strtting and fretting on their stage, more sound and fury from congressteers, signifying nothing.
Which is superior: the Constitution or a House resolution?
Doesn’t the Constitution already specify a date by which the president must present a budget to Congress?
If he ignores that, why on earth would he pay attention to a House resolution?
@tumblindice: “Strutting and fretting on their stage, more sound and fury from congressteers, signifying nothing.”
Heh. Obama as MacBeth. The possibilities are vast.
“Budget? There would have been a time for such a word. Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace until the last syllable of recorded time.
“And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death.”
How apt!
All I can say to him is out, out dam’d spot!
