The single-seat Qaher F313 (Dominant F313) is the latest design produced by Iran's military since it launched the Azarakhsh (Lightning), in 2007.

President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad said it had "almost all the positive features" of the world's most sophisticated jets.

He said the "development of the Iranian nation's military power is... for deterrence and defensive purposes".

"Check it out, Amadinnerjacket, we built a toy for you".

That has got to be the worst mockup ever built. Wonder if they used their own plastic for the canopy.

As the pilot turns to the ground crew and asks, “What, you couldn’t get an old Moog for the control panel? But I do like the 2 wires attached...much better than one. And btw guys, could you lower my seat? My knees are getting cramped.”

Seems to be a good bet. At least the kid’s plane is mobile.

Seems so... Or, it really is a remote-controlled toy, and they couldn’t show anything that would allow comparison to the size of spectators or structures.
