Government is the Humanists’ God.
Exactly, and in the eyes of a liberal anyone who distrusts government is commiting an act of blasphemy.
That’s the end result of nihilism, naturalism, and humanism.
The only transcendent “being” is the State.
So it takes precedence over the sovereignty of the individual.
(The Christian worldview is the opposite, no surprise - the human person is perpetual, and the State and the World are destined for destruction.)
