Just a heads up to Pennsylvania Freepers in Westmorland County. Our local Sheriff and Solicitor have come out in support of our 2nd Amendment and civil rights.

Good for him! I wish our Indiana County sheriff would come out publicly for our 2nd Amendment rights!

Connecticut is "ground zero" for strict gun control, but common sense is fighting back. This video was sent to all 187 Connecticut state legislators yesterday. Every lawmaker should watch.

Good to hear that info from Westmoreland Co, as the wife and I were from there originally. We’ve have called the Upper Yukon home for many years, no Counties in Alaska which means no organized local govt in many rural areas; a good thing actually. Good Luck Westmoreland.

As a long time carry permit resident of Westmoreland cty, the sheriff's dept. has been a 2nd Amendment protector.

Sheriff Held is a life member of the NRA and is active in his support of a citizen's right to own and carry guns, for protection against tyrants {both criminal and governmental, oh, that's redundant}.

With Held as Sheriff, Westmoreland residents are safer and gun violence by the bad guys, against citizens is very low, especially when compared to our neighbors in Allegheny County {home of the Stillers}.

The rate of gun crime in Pittsburgh is very low when compared to other cities that house NFL teams, especially, da bears and iggles and reddish colored people.

Its nice, for a change, to see a publicly elected official come out in favor of upholding and protecting the rights of the citizens, as they swore to do, instead on jumping on this anti-America, anti-law-abiding gun owners band wagon and threatening to take those rights away. They should do their jobs and arrest and prosecute the criminals who break the existing gun laws instead of going after all the lawful gun owners. The Democrats and progressive liberals always get it ass backwards. They can’t win an argument with themselves because their arguments are so weak.
