IMO, alloysteel is onto it. I'm not an expert on anything, but I've had the duty of picking up crazies (among others) in the past. I'm not a psych., either. Also did quite a bit of work for family rights (political stuff). One word for Dorner's speech is "subjective." We've seen it in public arguments with anti-family, "progressive" folks in the past. There are also anecdotes devised to elicit emotional reactions.

The scariest psychotics in face-to-face meetings are seldom dangerous. I'm not so sure that some of the more infamous serial murderers of history were psychotic. Some people are evil, IMO. "Anti-social" might be a description. Here's my wilder guess, for what little it's worth--even to me.

Dorner believed that Hillary's "village" was nearly completed and controlled. Congress and state assemblies aren't going along with some of his most desired wishes. He wanted to dominate some of his coworkers. That didn't work out, either.

He's throwing his tantrum. I've recently seen others do it in a very sparsely populated area, after they were laid off from government jobs and heading for foreclosures. Others, yet, as they were only afraid that they would lose in the near future without having lost, yet. They were self-described professionals.

As for the Aurora and Sandy Hook mass murders, look at some of the elements so smothered in many other stories. Sometimes, even an inconvenient truth is wrapped into a wilder conspiracy story and re-disseminated to cause readers to reject that truth.

* Two nerds, previously described by friends and acquaintances as more likely to be picked on than to attack anyone.

* Demographics of the two and their families (very well to do).

* Very high grades in school--both of 'em. Lanza attended high school through his junior year then attended a university (3.26 grade average there).

* Comments from the handyman on Lanza and his mother after befriending Lanza's mother and meeting on a friendship basis outside of work. Remember the looks of the neighborhood there. Lanza's mother murdered, after she was allegedly Lanza's only company for some time. Who's talking to the handyman and how much?

* Both were isolated from friends/family before allegedly committing the murders with no help from others. Separations/divorces, too. Their protectors (fathers) were isolated from them.

* Hints of powerful drugs taken or being administered before each of the atrocities--drugs not commonly abused by drug addicts or prescribed to kooks but used by autocratic, foreign nations on terrorists, patsies and others. Yes, this is speculation, but it's not so wild, IMO. Look at the profiles again, and the demographics, former acquaintances, etc.

* Possibly unprecedented waves of false reports from media on each of them.

* The timing and coincidences--possible, but in random numbers study, unlikely.

And of course, the administrators are getting those cases "wrapped up" quickly (heard that interjection before while trying to do interviews). But whether or not those exceedingly strange and ugly events took place as presented, the general public won't completely believe it, IMO.

Pile recent publicity, political and other moves against the 1st, 2nd and 4th amendments on top of the political and social situation, and it's not pretty. Levels of distrust have gone up.

It's a mess. My guess is that we rhetorically fight. Thus, my seemingly wild implications about the hideousness of what we've been presented about Holmes and Lanza (nerds being bullied, etc.). We shouldn't be tolerant of what is being pushed as journalism (only my opinion).

Sometimes, a lie is easier to believe than the truth (see corruption, dramatics, all). Some people, because of their duties or other efforts, really see stranger things by far than most people--things that most wouldn't want to believe (not flying saucers and the like but things that evil folks and other people really do).

Mark Levin is now going over Dorner’s Manifesto since the Liberal media is ignoring it.
