F-16s To Egypt, But Not To Taiwan?
Investor's Business Daily ^ | February 7, 2013 | IBD EDITORIALS

Posted on 02/07/2013 4:17:40 PM PST by raptor22

Unlike the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, which faces no existential threat, our Asian ally faces an increasingly belligerent and well-armed China. Yet only one gets the latest weaponry and the question is why.

On Jan. 30, a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer in the East China Sea near the disputed Senkaku Islands just north of Taiwan was "painted" by fire control-radar from two People's Liberation Army warships, believed to be the Chinese frigates Linyungang and Wenzhou.

This was just the latest provocation by a China flexing its deep water naval muscle as it asserts itself in the East and South China Seas and pursues long-held territorial ambitions. One of those ambitions is the absorption into the People's Republic of its alleged long-lost province of Taiwan.

China continues to add missiles targeted on Taiwan, adds naval capability including an aircraft carrier, expands its amphibious capabilities, as well as developing its own stealth fighter said to be roughly equivalent to our now-canceled F-22 Raptor.

In this context, Taiwan has sought to improve its defenses with the acquisition of 66 F-16C and F-16F fighter aircraft, also known as Block 52 planes.

These are not stripped down versions that are sometimes sold overseas, but state-of-the-art aircraft with the latest bells and whistles, one of the most capable fighter aircraft in the world.

While Taiwan languishes in military limbo, Egypt, under the thumb of the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohammed Morsi, has received the first of 20 such aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2013, 16 single-seat F-16Cs and four double-seat F-16Ds.

Remember the whole Hughes Aircraft/Loral Space debacle during the Clinton admin? They took export control of dual use tech from the DOD and gave it to Ron Brown’s ( remember him? ) Commerce Department. The move allowed China to aquire sensitive technology, who paid X42 back with illegal campaign contributions. It took a few years to unravel because Bill Lewinsky at least tried to hide his treason. The current occupant just plain doesn’t care how HIS treason looks. His disdain and disgust with America tells me the birthers are probably spot on..

Thus far it's been a trivial exercise to predict which side of a conflict Bronco will support.

It's always the muslim or communist side, for green on green or red on red conflicts it's always the more hard-core side.

If there are no muslim or communist interests, he votes present.

If as I suspect, he travelled to Pakistan so he could slip across the border and wage jihad on the Russians in Afghanistan as so many young devout muslins were doing during that time-frame, he'll side with islam should there be a red on green conflict.

If the democrats wouldn't convict Bill Clinton because they weren't sure what the meaning of "is" is, you can bet they have no idea what the meaning of "treason" is either.

Treason is defined in the Constitution.

Unfortunately only a citizen can be guilty of treason.

That is because Taiwan is an ally and Egypt is not. See?

Maybe the truth can be found in Obama's choices - he's telling us - with his actions - the Muslim Brotherhood is an ally - and Taiwan isn't... That message is also being sent to China and to Israel.

"Unlike the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, which faces no existential threat..."

Whoever wrote the lead for the IBD article doesn't understand the complexity of the Middle East. Funding for the Muslim Brotherhood comes from the Sunni/Wahhabi Saudi Family, the same general source that provided support for Barry, beginning at least with his entry to Occidental. With its nuclear capability, Shia Iran is about as existential a threat to the Saudis as was Saddam Hussein, who thought he had a green light to consume Saudi Arabia after moving unopposed into Kuwait. Until Jimmy Carter, Iran was moving away from Islamic Fundamentalism, and imams were no longer controlling fiefdoms, levying taxes, imposing their Koranic rules. Persian women went to school, and graduate school, returning to Iran from top schools around the world because Iran had apparently escaped the shackels of despotic fundamentalism. Iran's citizens are generally not Arab. With Carter's help, and help from the USSR, Iran changed into “An Islamic Republic”, with its leaders violently disposed to conquer Sunni Islam which support comes principally from Saudi Arabia, the Muslim Brotherhood's, and Barack Obama’s patron.

The source for Obama’s Saudi patronage, understandably buried by state-run media, is the attorney who defended Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan (demonstrating his nonalignment, since Farrakhan doesn't hide his approval, if not his involvement, with Malcolm X’ murder), The Mulim Brotherhood, Charles Rangel, an Army Air Corp vet, Manhattan Borough President, Percy Sutton. Sutton, a careful speaker, described Obama’s patron as Alwaleed bin-Talal, so described by bin-Talal’s legal representative, and Sutton's old friend, Khalid al-Mansour nee. Don Warden.

Warden/al-Mansour is a Boalt Hall graduate, Black Panther founder, and virulent black nationalist, who became a Wahabbi Muslim in the late 60s. Mansour first partnered with bin-Talal in a law firm using their names on the masthead in the early 70s. He has been a counsel for the Royal Family for almost forty years. Bin-Talal bestowed twenty million dollars upon Harvard in 1987, when Obama entered Harvard Law, possibly the result of the help in getting Obama into Harvard Sutton provided. Bin-Talal is the largest stock holder in News Corp - Fox News, Wall Street Journal - after Murdoch, and a major stockholder in Citibank, GE, Apple, Siemens, AIG, etc. etc. How much control Obama’s patrons exercise is anyone’s guess, but the plans probably began long before Occidental, when al-Mansour admitted first meeting Barry.

A 1979 interview with al-Mansour by Vernon Jarrett, Valerie's communist father-in-law, approvingly described al-Mansour’s plan to inject Saudi money, beginning with twenty million dollars, into US minority education for blacks and Hispanics. Al-Mansour was a principal organizer of funding for and creation of Wahabbi Madrassas in North Africa and the US. Jarrett, a friend and associate of Frank Marshall Davis for two decades before Davis escaped the heat to Hawaii in the late 40s, certainly knew Don Warden/al-Mansour. Jarrett certainly remained close to Frank, who became Barry's “surrogate” father (yes, some believe he was his father), in the late 60s.

The bottom line is that Barry was financially supported by by Saudi money, at least since Occidental. Percy Sutton asked about Barry's financial needs, and his friend “Dr. Whalid al-Mansour”, explained that his patron "was one of the world's wealthiest men." Sutton was, of course, dismissed as senile. Listen to the Youtube interview. He was slow, but very careful. If you've listened to al-Mansour you'll hear some similarities (al-Mansour still has many Youtube lectures, though the interview in which he described meeting Barack at Occidental has been scrubbed). They are both very bright men, both from the South, and both soft-spoken and compelling speakers.

Percy probably didn't, in 1985, know of the plans to promote Barry/Barack as a politician, and Barack’s handlers probably didn't dare ask Percy to lie. Mansour said in a recent local broadcast discussion, that he would not make the mistake of saying anything about Obama and their relationship. Sutton seems like an honest man, and anything but senile. Obots claimed a family attorney pronounced “the 88 year old Sutton” incompetent. Sutton's family said publicly that they had never heard of the attorney, that he didn't even have Percy's age right - he was 86 - and that Percy died with a keen mind.

Obama's decisions make perfect sense in the context of his patron's, the Saudi Royal Family. Keeping us dependent upon energy supplied by the Saudis helps secure their security. It doesn't matter whether or not Barry is a Muslim. It does matter who controls his decisions. Every replacement of a Middle Eastern dictator with the Muslim Brotherhood is a success. Assad, Mubarak, Qaddafi, Hussein, all resisted Muslim Brotherhood domination. Obama has been arming the Brotherhood through the "mission" (there was never a "consulate" or embassy in Benghazi - it was an arms depot for the Muslim Brotherhood). Both Hegel and Brennan worked for, or were paid by the Saudis to whom they consulted. Hillary's closest aide, Huma Abedin, worked for the Saudis (a Muslim charity group) and her parents were both senior Muslim Brotherhood employees. Every Obama decision should be viewed in the context of to whom he owes his position.

The reality, Red China is a biggest foreign ally for US democrats since 1970s. F-16 for Taiwan simply doesn’t fit into it.
