So he's lured them onto ground of his choosing and he's armed and competent? This should be interesting.

325 pound black man hiding in the snow up in the 98.7% white community of Big Bear. That'll work.
Yeah, brilliant tactical plan there, "Rambo".

Well, if he’s held up a person and had them drive down to Lucerne Valley, he’s halfway to never being found for a long time. The Cali desert can hide a resourceful man pretty easily.

I know Big Bear, and I can tell you that they are in terror.
For those who are totally unarmed, and who are lacking talent and personalities for this kind of situation, they are incredibly vulnerable in their cabins and isolation.
Even the armed and prepared are vulnerable, especially if they are trying to manage a household of others.

Cop-killer is 'sick,' Villaraigosa says in touting gun controlHeadline spotted at link. Of course he's sick. He says he supports gun control, Obama, and Piers Morgan.
Really sick.

According to Mark Levin just a few minutes ago this guy has a manifesto attacking the NRA and praising the hosts on MSNBC. Anybody heard anything along these lines? The few ABC radio news blurbs I’ve heard have described him only as “anti law enforcement”.

This is starting to remind me of an incident in Cortez, Colorado about ten years ago. A couple of locals stole a water truck and were heading to the Indian Casino, apparently to rob it, when a police car noticed them. They shot and killed the police officer, dropped the plan to rob the casino, and went straight to their getaway plan. They were well trained in camping and survival skills, and they dissappeared into some rugged canyonland. One of the largest manhunts in Colorado began and lasted months. One died in a shootout a few days later, but the other one vanished. That is, until one day years later, when hunters found his dehydrated corpse hidden in a canyon. He had shot himself within a few days of the shooting.
Living on the run in the wilderness takes a certain kind of person. I have camped in that area in Colorado, and it is difficult to be there alone. You might think you are getting away from your problems, but your problems follow you into the wilderness, where you can be alone with them day after day until they consume you.
I think his body will be found in the wilderness, a suicide.

So is this manhunt, also a government practice run for attacking citizens? Asking for a friend.
