SAN DIEGO - The U.S. Navy released Christopher Dorner's service record early Thursday afternoon to Team 10.
Dorner, a suspect wanted in connection to three slayings and several shootings, joined the service in 2002. His loss date was Feb. 1, 2013, just days before the shootings began.
Dorner was stationed at several locations throughout his service years, including San Diego, Bahrain, Nevada, and the mobile inshore undersea warfare unit.
He has several awards and decorations, including medals for National Defense Service, the Iraq Campaign , Sea Service Deployment, and pistol expertise. He also has honors for rifle marksmanship.

LE makes mistakes, but they have a difficult job to do.
Most people I have met during my 64 years who resent the police are people that had occasion to be involved in some wrongdoing.
Typically ex-cons resent the PD. People arrested for DUI resent the PD. People arrested for spousal battery resent the PD, and so it goes.
I respect them, and happen to have a neighbor who is retired LAPD. I used to run long distance races with him. LAPD and other agencies do the Baker to Vegas rally.

I do know that I got out last enlistment as an E-6 cook, and wound up with train-the-trainer on counter-terrorism training among other interesting (and a lot of un-interesting) training.
Reservists spend a lot more time in school than active duty. AF anyway.
After tech school, I doubt I did more than 6 or 8 one week or longer classes during my first enlistment when I was active duty. I spent at least half my time training and in classes when I was reserve.

I’ve known a lot of honorable Marines as well.
A rookie probationary officer should know he is asking for trouble if he squeals on a senior officer. He reported the female training officer for roughing up a handcuffed suspect. He lost the trust of almost every officer in that department when he did that.
That is a very generous guess. Makes sense, I hope that is the reason, and not part of the continuing slander of the military by the Obama Regime.
Oh, left off the list was my Mother in Law, who was a Marine during the Korean war.

It’s a grab-bag of port defenses, as far as I knew it. Some are officers who could not win the SWO pin, etc.
