I didn’t know they (Herstal Group) originally designed 7.62 and 5.56 for NATO.

That’s why I’m comfortable with investing in the 5.7, It’s the official sidearm for NATO. So hopefully ammo will be abundant someday like 5.56 and 7.62. Federal has started making the 40 grain 5.7 and you can get it on Gunbroker for around $10 a box cheaper and it’s 50 fps faster than the FNH @1650. But I want the 29 grain which is 2100 fps and they don’t make that yet, why I don’t know.
