I live on the Colorado River/AZ border. There is a running joke here that we’ll blow the bridges when the SHTF. If the S really does HTF, I wouldn’t want to be a Californian wondering if that really is a joke.
The other joke goes that we’ll just drive over the bodies of libs who tried swimming once it’s over.
It just hit me that we are seeing/ will see the scenario from "The Grapes of Wrath" in reverse.
