What their short-sightedness does not see is the elimination of their own jobs: John Smith(D) beats Sam Jones(R) in the next election, after amnesty, because of the swell of Dem voters. Ha Ha. At the next election, John Smith loses to Juan Ortiz-Rodriguez-Sanchez in the Dem primary and wins the election, schadenfruede. And Juan could not care less about any other constiuents except the "nueva electora". Thus, the Dem party is permanently altered. And corruption? You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Actually, legal immigration supplies the Dems with all the voters they need. Amnesty just hastens the process. Every ten years of legal immigration is the equivalent of an amnesty.
