DETROIT In one of the most violent cities in the U.S., Detroit employees, even those entering some of the city's roughest neighborhoods on a daily basis, may not arm themselves while on the job, based on a 2010 order.
Anthony Neely, a spokesman for Mayor Dave Bing, said the city has not yet determined if it will impose penalties up to and including termination against a 59-year-old Public Lighting employee who shot two teens he claimed were armed and attempting to rob him and his co-worker.

Self preservation during a crime should trump any end round our right to bear arms legislation.
Detroit’s way of subsidising criminals, by sending their unarmed employess out to be robbed.
If only all decisions were so clear-cut.
Rather than deciding the violence was initiated by a thug who unfortunately survived poor shot placement, they want to punish the armed citizen who ended this shocking incident of "violence in the workplace"? It's no wonder Detroit is dying.
Then Light Guy could put Bing on graveyard so he can see which streetlights are out.

The city of Detoilet, Michigan will be watched carefully on this one. Will the Black Mayer fire the workers who defended themselves from armed attack?
What is the race of the shooter?
What is the race of the criminals (rhetorical question, I know) who tried to rob the workers?
In America 2013 A.D. the innocent are punished and the criminal favored.
