Sick is what you’re proving yourself to be.

Try Yeshua’s standard for a change:

“Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”

"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."

This is ripped out of context (John 8) where a woman is taken in adultery. The law required both guilty parties to be taken, not just the woman, and stoned. And the accusers were required to cast the first stone. Accusers who failed to follow the law's due process were not "without sin." In fact their perjury could result in them being stoned, the same punishment they were endeavoring to engineer against the lone woman. God (Jesus) was not abrogating the crime and punishment for adultery. He was requiring that his law be followed to the letter.

The young people here are guilty of fornication, sex outside of marriage by the unmarried. God requires that the unbetrothed young woman's father be compensated monetarily and that she be married to the offender (Deuteronomy 22:28,29).

Jesus himself said "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am come not to destroy, but to fulfill." (Maatthew 5:17). Fulfill, not destroy. Belief on the Lord Jesus Christ, which results in salvation and eternal life protects from the 2nd death (See Revelation 20 and 21), but does not free the party from the consequences of sin in this life. For certain crimes the flesh will be handed over to destruction, but the new creature will never die.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" (John 11:25,26)

Do you?
