Defense Distributed, the Austin, Texas-based project by 24-year-old law student Cody Wilson and several others to develop 3D printed firearms and firearm components, or Wiki Weapons, on Thursday posted a new video online showing a successful test firing of a new 3D printed high-capacity (30-round) automatic rifle (AR) magazine, named Cuomo, after New York States gun-control supporting governor Andrew Cuomo.
New York recently passed a law banning all magazines in excess of 7 rounds (except for law enforcement use), the nations toughest magazine regulation.
He [Cuomo] wants to be associated with these magazines, Wilson told TPM, reached by phone on Thursday. Lets make that association permanent.
Check out Defense Distributeds new video of the Cuomo magazine being test fired below:
Guys like Cuomo are in a bubble, Wilson told TPM. Politicians, big Wall Street traders, they have armed guards. So New York passes a law banning high-capacity magazines and Cuomo says: ok, New York is safe. But he should back down from the hyperbole. Not only can it [high-capacity magazine manufacturing] not be regulated, but its about to be exploded open right now.
And if 3D printers are banned, Harbor Freight sells all the stuff needed to make them from metal available in any home Depot/Ace Hardware...For under $100. Most guys with guns already have every tool they need.
Community colleges will reap the benefits of people signing up to metalwork courses. Though most shadetrees could make a mag in about an hour with basic tools.
Love it I tell you!!!!
Eight Deuce on the loose!

They should make the new 40 round mag for the AK wide on the bottom, so they can call it “The Mochelle”.
Beedy eye’d son of sfachime is an elitist arrogant opportunist with an eye on the whitehouse and nothing more. He ran HUD under Clinton and was one of the direct reasons why the housing marked collapsed.

LOAN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION!
He just changed that issue (mag printing) from mere annoying curiosity to high-value political target.
Americans have a long history of pushing back against oppression. No one knows when it will blow, but it did in the past and it will again.
find a politician whose wealth is based on a small plastic anything that can be 3d printed and essentially destroy the market for that product.
