A new shift of officers has been called in tonight to continue the search for Christopher Dorner in Big Bear. The LAPD has announced it will reopen the investigation into Dorner’s termination.

Bulletin: Sgt. R. Collins of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department Big Bear station said at 6:15 p.m. that a new shift of officers had been called in to continue the search for Christopher Dorner.

LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck has announced the department will reopen the investigation into Dorner's employment termination. He plans to publicly address Dorner's allegations of wrongful termination and review the 2007 complaint against his supervisor.

LAPD has also announced that a special task force has been created to assist with the capture of Dorner. Irvine, Riverside and Los Angeles police departments as well as the FBI and U.S. Marshals will work together to end the manhunt.

A torched truck abandoned in Big Bear by a man suspected of killing three people this week was abandoned with several weapons inside after the vehicle broke down, officials said Saturday.

The burned truck's discovery set off a massive manhunt, and while there has been no sign of Christopher Dorner in the past 48 hours, more than 50 law enforcement officials continue to search the wooded and mountainous terrain.

That’s the screwy bit. The guy’s truck was located days ago, but *now* our local constabularies start looking for it?

We’re 1500 miles North and a 1.5 hour ferry ride away. Then there’s the border.

Idiots.

“Irvine, Riverside and Los Angeles police departments as well as the FBI and U.S. Marshals will work together to end the manhunt.”

Great. Now we have a three ring circus. What are the odds that a church or synagogue will be burned to the ground? Maybe they can call in cluster flock Gen. Wesley Clark to bring in the tanks to crush local elementary schools.

I think this is about training the police department to shoot to kill without asking questions, and to be very paranoid of not having the federal government nanny watching their back. It is another black flag.

The government elite is moving swiftly to change the entire fabric of our country, and to make anyone not involved with the elite government a whack job terrorists, who is to be feared and killed.

Every time the MSM shows or prints anything about this massive man-hunt they should be forced to show at least 15 minutes of an authentic Keystone Cops movie chase.

The public will soon notice that police are no different today than back in the early 1900’s on vaudeville.

” I'm curious about something. How did the FBI and US Marshals get involved in this. Did the guy break some Federal law or were they invited by LAPD? Anybody know?”

Who knows what Federal law he broke that's kind of irrelevant at this point. The Feds are now involved and won't be leaving anytime soon.

What this tells me is that the PD, contrary to the dog and pony show at Big bear, believe he is somewhere else. It wouldn't make sense for a 6’ 270 lb black man to try and hide in an area that is 97% white. My bet is he is back in the LAPD AO, probably in a place like Compton where he can hide in plain sight. The LAPD and the Feds are not likely to seal off Compton and try to go door to door unless they want a Grozny or Fallujah on their hands. The PD have already raided Dorners mothers house in La Palma.

Dorner was fired from the LAPD back in ‘08 but only went rogue after he was recently discharged from the Navy when he was passed over for promotion. His fight is with the LAPD so he has been planning this for a long time. He claims to have Manpads, night vision and suppressors. Whether he has them or not makes no difference. The LAPD are operating on assumption that he does possess that equipment. There was more that enough time between 2008 and 2013 to acquire them.

He is crazy but not stupid. I would guess he would lay low for a week or maybe a month let the LAPD exhaust themselves then pop back up and take another bite of the apple then go to ground again as his reputation builds.

This is classic asymmetrical warfare Alinsky style.
RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”.

As far as targeting non-combatants like the daughter of one of his targets, Dorner is at war at least in his mind and his ROE are diffrent from what is generally accepted as normal. Lenin and other Marxists targeted family members of opponents as they seized power as did Chechens in their war with the Russians. I believe the LAPD know this or at least should.

This affair is very educational and should be watched closely insomuch as ONE MAN with planning and determination is causing an incredible amount of disruption far out out of proportion to his actual abilities and numbers. If he gets caught it most likely will be from sheer dumb luck on the LAPD’s part.
