It's far better for the cops to injure or kill a thousand innocent persons than to let one guilty person continue driving down the road for a moment longer than absolutely necessary.

In retrospect, it's clear that the cops couldn't take any chances. Citizens can be replaced.

"..mistaken.."

Felonious, at a minimum.

As the vehicle approached the house, officers opened fire, unloading a barrage of bullets into the back of the truck.

Were they driving the truck backwards up the street?

Most of the folks I shoot with are much better shots than I am.

My 11 y/o niece has been shooting at 5 inch plates at 600 meters, and hitting them much more often than not. She, and others like her, must scare the shiite out of the LAPD.

Fortunately, for them, she lives in another state. Speaks, or at least understands, Russian too. (Her mother and oldest sister are native Russian speakers) She's following in the tradition of Lyudmila Pavlichenko who is credited with killing 309 Nazi soldiers during The Great Patriotic War. Her mother even looks something like Lyudmila, only prettier.

we are always told cops get far more training than ccw holders. training that makes them steady under pressure. right.

.... After the investigation is completed, Beck and an oversight board will decide if officers were justified in the shooting or made mistakes that warrant either punishment or training. ....

No mention here of possible criminal charges, naturally. What the heck, it was all just a one big mistake and you can't expect the gang banging cops to be charged for doing their jobs. It was all in a nights work after all. Maybe they'll just get their wrists slapped. And if that isn't good enough then they'll probably play their get out of jail FREE card of 'I was in fear for my life'. Works every time.

He was also driving a BLACK HONDA pickup.

The ladies were in a BLUE Toyota Tacoma.

Dorner was driving a GREY NISSAN TITAN.

THese “professional law(less)men” can’t tell the difference in MAKE OR COLOUR!

Yeah, only they and the army should carry firearms...

I’m sure.
They probably get girls and dope in lieu of money from MS13, the russians, and the rest of the gangs to go away and eat donuts.
Why is it that every major city that has had leftards in power for decades is broke and a *&^*&^ free fire zone?
I guess the left’s definition of diversity is having crack for breakfast and hash for lunch.

These “shoot first and the identify” types are going to cost the LAPD a ton of money from lawsuits from this blatant stupidity. So much for the “protect and serve” mantra the LAPD mouths. They're nothing but a bunch of thugs with guns.

Now, if these Keystone Kops want to play war for real, a well-armed citizenry is a much tougher problem than one rogue cop or a bunch of gang bangers. Many of these people rely upon one well placed shot over spray and pray. All the fancy toys and body armor is for naught to a high power rifle round like .308 Win, .30-06, 7.92x57, 7.62x54R.

If they haven't figured this out, they need to look to the 1992 LA Riots. The LAPD abandoned the citizens in the riot areas for days. The Koreatown shopkeepers defended their homes and businesses against the rioters and took out the trash. One Korean shopkeeper couldn't bring himself to shoot the rioter who was about to throw a lit Molotov Cocktail into his shot; he shot the bottle in the thug's hand. The thug became a crispy critter.

Dornan is a cold blooded murderer that must be stopped.

At least that's what the LAPD is telling us. I'll wait for the trial.. if he gets to trial.

Heck he'd probably in Fiji by now.

I had a couple of classes a looooong time ago from somebody who taught ‘interesting’ people and police departments.
He said that after 1 class we had had more training and practice than 80% of the police. After the 2nd class, more than 95%.
Apparently the participants were a little faster on the uptake too.
You know, that whole Hogan’s Alley thing of ‘Shoot/Don’t shoot’ is highly overrated. /s

seriously regular folks need to start being concerned with death by cops, esp. when the chief excuses major eff ups with ‘stress’.

if any cop is this stressed he might act this way it’s time for them to leave the force, they are a danger to the public.

OH these guys are experts at legalese LOL.

If there is one thing I have learned in life it is that beat cops are not experts on the law.

Never argue with them on the street.
I just comply and tell it to a judge.
In this case the asian women never had the option, and the truth is, the Judges have a track record of being ***holes too.

At any rate, it is often best to submi....t.
(geeze that just stuck in my throat) and beg forgiveness from the court.

These gals are about to become very rich.

El Gato~:” There was a second “mistaken identity case”.

In the first case (shots fired at Newspaper ladies) there is abosolutely “no legal defense”.
I counted 38 hits on their truck from newspaper photos.
Deadly physical force (discharge of firearm) can be
used only in RESPONSE to deadly physical force.
What prompted police to fire at them ?
Different make, model, and color of truck of the suspect’s truck
Did the victims display firearms ~ no !
They were shot from BEHIND the truck , through the truck box and back window, into the truck cab (!)
Police admit there was No warning issued (!)
The only discharge of firearms were the police, which prompted other to fire also (herd mentality) (!)
One victim shot in the back ; the other victim had shattered glass shards injury.
This shooting is a legal nightmare for the police.

In the second case , the male victim was no way , even remotely , come close to the physical description of the perp.
Adrenaline pumping, or not , is no excuse for a ‘trained police officer’ ramming the victims truck.

All the police officers involved need to go through re-training for deadly physical force,
the use of physical force , but also ,
they need more time on the target practice range (!)
Thank goodness that I am not inside their jurisdiction .

Regardless of the LAPD’s BS, Dornan is a cold blooded murderer that must be stopped.

PS, what would you call seven cops who opened fire on two women without warning?
