I was really hoping that video of the 2 cops exchanging fire across the hood of a car with a suspect and NOT HITTING HIM, some years back was an aberration.
Unfortunately, that incident, the one in NYC where the cops managed to only graze the suspect but nail 7 or 8 bystanders, this, and others seem to be the norm.
How is it that there are so many people in the government that have sharp objects and live ammo who should be on the short bus?
I understand this is L.A., but aren’t the rules of engagement supposed to be tighter than over in the sandbox?
Those women are lucky to be alive.
But geez. There are over 50 rds in the back of their vehicle alone, and only one of them was hit twice, with non-critical wounds?
At that rate, some 9 year old with a super soaker will take out the whole department in a fight.

There was a crazy shooting in Cleveland in December that involved something like a third of their force on duty, I think 2 innocents were dead, 140 shots fired in a half a minute...

there were no suspects around

No wonder everybody working for the government wants us not to have anything more lethal than a pool noodle. They're using EACH OTHER as a barometer of the competence and judgment of normal people!
