CNN anchor Deb Feyerick asked Saturday afternoon if an approaching asteroid, which will pass by Earth on February 15, “is an example of, perhaps, global warming?”
Moments earlier, before an ad break, she segued from the Northeast blizzard to a segment with Bill Nye “the science guy,” by pointing to global warming: “Every time we see a storm like this lately, the first question to pop into a lot of people’s minds is whether or not global warming is to blame? I’ll talk to Bill Nye, ‘the science guy,’ about devastating storms and climate change.”

She never got to that question in the subsequent interview at about 3:25 PM EST during CNN Newsoom, instead transitioning from a snowfall update: “Talk about something else that’s falling from the sky and that is an asteroid. What’s coming our way? Is this an effect of, perhaps, of global warming or is this just some meteoric occasion?”
Nye resisted confirming her hypothesis.

Global warming is responsible for tone nail fungus and tooth decay. This has to be true. Oh, and it’s Bush’s fault too. And it’s responsible for all of those newsroom talking saying idiotic things and sounding so stupid. Yes, this is true!
I hate to say this but I wonder if this might be more of an example of a certain style of female thinking.

Global Warming has caused emotional and physical harm to me..
I am 65 and have been suffering from LNS for the past several years. The low testostorone level and the LNS (LIMP NOODLE SYNDROME) was a definite result of Global Warming - It could not have been caused by anything else - I am a Loon Democrat Liberal - and I KNOW ALL..
We have a small group of producers who are beginning to unlock the secrets of the entire Universe. On the other hand we also have a majority population decaying from sloth and willful ignorance. We also have a parasitic elite that uses government corruption to rob everyone.

You believe we talking monkeys (homo sapiens) will unlock all the ultimate secrets of the Universe? I don’t. We’re barely above the level of apes. An alien species capable of interstellar travel WOULD consider us apes. True, we have learned a lot, but I think we will eventually hit a brick wall our finite brains won’t be able to get through. Consider space travel. China invented chemical propelled rockets in the 3rd century,,,1800 years ago. We’ve added tweaks and sophistication, but we’re still basically using the same propulsion system China invented almost 2 thousand years ago. No paradigm shifting breakthroughs. And take Physics as a whole. Einstein made his huge, paradigm shifting breakthrough with the Theory of Relativity in 1905,,,over a century ago. Since then, no big breakthroughs on a scale that big.
Global warming useful idiots have their own cul-de-sac in internet kooksville. They are an interesting study in self delusion, anger, resentment and, overwhelmed by a false sense of guilt, fear and anexity.
Imagine the burden of thinking your own breath caused Sandy to wipe out part of NYC. They really believe their god is mad because humans are happy and live. It’s a religion of self mutilation.
