Forget investigative journalism, if we had an even mildly interested press, Pelosi wouldn't be able to discuss this budget as some sort of objective outside observer. We have proof she was at the scene of the crime. We have fingerprints, witnesses, audio/video recordings, and transcripts that prove this is her budget. And every new CR the Repubs get Boehnered into passing establishes a new baseline for even greater federal growth.

I'm sure Pelosi has set a record for the number of times she passed her budget while being minority leader...all while blaming Bush.

She would never cite the real problem. Barney Frank, boyfriends, cohorts, and the democrats who forced Fannie and Freddie on loan institutions to make high risk mortgage loans to people who would never be able to pay. The student loan bubble has to burst too before we can get out of this.
