No reason why he shouldn't be lauded. He gave a great conservative speech. Nor should he be anointed. We don't know enough about him yet. But he has balls and is a breath of fresh air. Let him throw his name in the hat with Rubio, Ryan, Christie, Palin, or whoever else wants to run in 2016. This guy could be the real deal. It's hard to say he doesn't make perfectly good sense.

It's hard to say he doesn't make perfectly good sense. So do a lot of folks who don't try to gain fame for doing so.
Agreed, we don't know enough about him yet.
Does his statement differ in any significant way from your own?
If not, then how is he any better than you?
God, I hates me some fawning.

I doubt Dr. Carson has any political ambitions. He’s a very healthy looking 61 year old surgeon who still does a huge number of surgeries annually. - That being said; he’s an accomplished person who is worth reading about - has invented some truly remarkable innovations in difficult surgical procedures. - He’s what Obama WISHES he, himself, was - but so far, isn’t!
