Saying the Government has a "spending problem" is like saying the Titanic had a small leak.

I fear that between denial, believing itself unsinkable, and the absence of lifeboats, the results will be similar.

Well she is right.

How can they have a spending problem when all she has to do is call over to the treasury and have them print up another trillion dollars.

More and more the Democrat “leadership” are proclaiming things that sound somewhat like what a deranged Roman Emperor would have made at an official government orgy.

Technically, she’s right. As long as Government can keep on spending, there is no problem.

Of course when they can’t keep it up, there are more problems than anyone can imagine.

How frustrating is it Republicans can’t beat Democrat morons such as Pelosi?

Pelosi’s biggest problem is that the Dem strongholds (CA, the northeast) have the worst spending problems, so the message doesn’t fly there. Nobody in CA, NY, or NJ thinks the government doesn’t have a spending problem.

She’s right. Spending isn’t “the” problem. Spending is a symption of our problems. Our problems are that our society is becoming evermore ignorant, narcissistic, and lazy...and they’ve begun electing fascists like Pelosi.

“Technically, she’s right. As long as Government can keep on spending, there is no problem.”

Not at all; even if they keep the printing presses running indefinitely, they are constantly devaluing the dollar. Gold, groceries, and gasoline aren’t costing more because they have become more rare or due to an increased demand; they cost more because we are buying them with devalued paper/Monopoly money.

That is a disastrous function of millions of government school indoctrinated morons, welfare brood mare spawned angry feral chronological and intellectual adolescents being permitted to vote. That many of them vote multiple times sure as hell doesn’t help!

“Not at all;”

So far it hasn’t gotten bad enough to stop the spending. You can bet that when inflation reaches an inflection point upward, the government response will NOT be less spending.

So while I completely agree with you on the economic fundamentals - Government does not care about inflation (indeed that is seen as a positive attribute of their “strategy”).

When inflation becomes the issue, they will first print more money, then blame “greedy business” and then their political opponents very existence.

After that, there should be enough unrest that options for government should be fairly wide-open. It probably won’t involve a free market and less government.

I can quit anytime I want. I just don’t want to.

The Democrats know that they are buying votes with government dollars so they won’t quit unless forced to do so.

Obama may not be very bright, but he has clearly memorized the lessons from Alinski and Hermann Goebbels: “Tell a big enough lie, often enough, and it will be believed”. Now he also has his minions repeating the lie, “we don’t have a spending Problem”. The 47 percent will believe them.
