It was probably intentional. Picking a date was a political call. There were several choices for Kim. He apparently chose to stick it to Zero.

Can we be certain china did not give nk a suitcase?
Can we be certain nk does not have the missile technology to hit a U.S. city?
Can we be certain nk cannot mount a suitcase on a missile?

The political lineup:
immature ones: Kim Jong-eun(N. Korea,) Barak Obama(U.S.)
sort of OK : Abe(Japan,) Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye(S. Korea, current and incoming president)
Cunning and devious: Xi Jinping(China,) Vladimir Putin(Russia)

The second one at the least, followed by another rocket(ICBM) test. Eventually they want to demonstrate that they have both the long-range rocket and a miniaturized nuke to be mounted on it. Ergo, a nuclear ICBM.

The earlier translation I heard was:
“Kim Jong-Un is so ronery. His Daddy was so ronery too!”
I stand corrected. Thanks again!
