I guess this is the question that has to be asked.....

I thought the Tea Party was an amorphous group....with no one leader or spokesperson.....perhaps only local organizers for events and newsletters.

Now here we have Rand Paul "giving the Tea Party response". I'd like to know who appointed him to this role....or did he just take it onto himself?

I consider myself "Tea Party". I have nothing against Ron Paul. But he doesn't speak for me in any official capacity.

Perhaps someone has the answers for this little mystery.

I'm surprised no one has even questioned this scenario yet.

Correction....I mistyped "Ron Paul" for "Rand Paul" in my post above.

Here is the problem... We are starting the race by dividing the party.

The GOP left me when it headed left. I welcome a robust primary and would not have a problem with Rubio were he to win. I'd prefer Scott Walker or Sarah Palin with their executive experience, and Cruz and Rand Paul or DeMint, but Rubio at least has some recognizably Conservative traits - something Romney lacked completely.

I won't feel dirty and ashamed voting for Rubio the way I did for Romney.

Q. Name the two main objectives?

A. 1. Vote IN a “Conservative majority in Congress.
2. Vote OUT RINOs.

Q. How do you accomplish this?

A. By voting for Conservatives (third party or Tea Party) candidates in primaries and on election day.

Q. What if the Conservative candidates lose in the primaries and or are way behind in likely voter polls at election time?

A. You PUNISH the Republicans by voting them out of office.
YOU VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT.

We want to win it all back in ONE election. That is why we keep losing. Every election we swing for the seats instead of bunts, singles, and walks. (Moneyball)

But he doesn't speak for me in any official capacity.

Well, if it's an amorphous group with no leader or spokesperson then anybody who wishes to get in front of a microphone and speak for the Tea Party is officially speaking for it.

Nobody is stopping you from giving a Tea Party response. Turn your pc camera on and post it at the Yute tube.

Re: “I will never vote for an amnesty pusher like Rubio.”

No problem.

The people who get Amnesty will never vote for him, either!
