It’ll be really crazy tonight.
So yesterday I got what mrs p6 needed for her king cakes. Ladt night she went to make them but even though the yeast proofed the dough wouldn’t rise. Eventually she and youngest son went out and bought some.
They’re ok but not as good as hers! She did roll some of her dough in cinnamon but they are dense. She says she might have lost track of the amount of flour.
Today I make jambalaya and might try my hand at making a king cake using dough from the bread machine.
The norks setting off the nuke really is an in your face to BO and tonight’s SOTU. Interesting to see what he’ll do.
I won’t be watching the SOTU - even IF Ted Nugent will be there! - but I’ll be watching the Republican response (Rubio) and Tea Party response (I think Rand Paul?). I’ll be following along on a live thread here on Free Republic during the SOTU! God bless those freepers with strong stomachs who will watch and keep us posted on a live thread!
