Since taking office in 2009, food stamp rolls under President Barack Obama have risen to more than 47 million people in America, exceeding the population of Spain.
Now is the time to act boldly and wisely to not only revive this economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity, said Obama during his first joint session address to Congress on Feb. 24, 2009.
Since then, the number of participants enrolled in food stamps, known as the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP), has risen substantially.

In honor of that, for a short time only, the USDA is including a free meal for 4 at your favorite TAPAS restaurant as part of their EBT/SNAP program!
Will this nightmare ever end?
A dark time in our country.

They don’t consider the welfare state costs the problem, undertaxation they do
All entitlements and pork together eat up a majority of the annual spending I think
If we weren’t spending money on countries that hate us we could support 2 or 3 spains worth of leeches...
Yes. “All entitlements and pork together” are huge—enormous! I reckon we—the younger half of Baby Boomers and younger—will work ‘till we die.
