Two San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies have been shot while pursuing a carjacking and home-invasion suspect in the Angelus Oaks area of Big Bear.
A law enforcement source confirms to the Associated Press that the assailant is triple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner, who is said to be heavily armed in engaging in gunfire with authorities.
Repeated gunshots could be heard on Glass Road west of 7 Oaks just after 1:30 p.m. and officials requested an armored vehicle to help remove several injured deputies from the scene. A SWAT team was also called in to set up a perimeter of the area. KCAL9′s Carter Evans, who was reporting nearby, is safe despite loud gunfire that could be heard during his live report.
The earlier incident at a home in the 1200 block of Club View Road, which is located near Highway 38 and Glass Road, was reported around 12:20 p.m. The suspect reportedly tied up a couple and stole their 2008 four-door, white Dodge 4X4 truck, which is registered to nearby Camp Tahquitz. One of the victims was able to escape and alert authorities.

No kidding...remember the infamous bombing of “MOVE” headquarters by the Philadelphia PD years ago? If Dorner is by himself in the cabin, a similar operation is about to unfold. The police doesn’t want the media choppers around to capture the big bang. Big Bear is within range of armed Predator drones from Creech AFB in NV and March ARB in CA. Posse Comitatus be damned; if the LA mayor or Governor Moonbeam makes a call to Obama, there will be a Hellfire missile in Dornan’s future, right before the fires of hell.

“Authorities” are just plain stupid. The cabin burns. No evidence. (Waco?) And many people will believe the cops set the cabin on fire. The cops will say Dormer set the fire himself. And he may have. We’ll never know.

I thought the same thing. But I’m sure a man who wants to die would be a lot more calm in a shoot out than a man who doesn’t.
The NCOs are the sensor operators on the two-man drone crews; the trigger-pullers are the pilots. But you are right, they are faceless and nameless. And if they take him out with a Hellfire, they could claim that the explosion was caused by a bullet striking a propane tank.
