The summertime humidity in Texas would put off most Californians, along with the bugs!
Again another asset. I am not in the same camp that we need to entice everyone to move here.
With the money I save from getting my terms of government (and it is far from perfect) I can afford a/c and bug spray.

To each his own said the lady as she kissed the cow! BTW, you don’t have to worry about Texas being “over populated” with “foreigners,” there are a lot of us for whom living in Texas would be far worse that staying where we are.
