Norming down the deviant began long ago but has now reached the critical mass state and is rapidly destroying anything like respect for any virtue other than a perverted understanding of ‘equality’ and ‘tolerance’. Black American may display dysfunction more floridly than any other segment but there is a vast amount in Hispanic America and a great , great deal in white middle class America. I remember being disturbed about the attitudes of my quite well off cousins in Fredericksburg, Va back in the 50’s. Their in your face arrogance and pursuit of excitement for the sake of excitement seemed to indicate something worse lurking beneath. Later I learned about how the Greeks considered insolence and lack or respect for the received moral order as the greatest offense a man could commit. That is what Americans have been taught is the supreme virtue for decades and now we are reaping the social whirlwind.
