Canada and the US States should just build the damn thing. It will tale several years before any trans border connection can be made and by that time OBUMMA will be long gone!
My post was short excerpt:

I’m sure that the Canadian Parliament will be hurrying to impose a tax at the behest of its southern neighbour (the least we can do is to spell it their way).
Harper can then kiss his political ass bye-bye.
Same thing will happen in Canada as it has been in the USA, classical liberals aka conservatives will site on their hands next election, he`ll be done and the conservative party will be destroyed.
I thought only George W. Bush was arrogant enough to tell other countries how to run their business.
Sorry. I usually check. I didn’t think this one would have been posted.
No problem, I only posted a paragraph.
BOHICA Canada! Turd-owe-with-a-Tan is in the White Hut and wants to do to us, what he’s done to Reggie Love and is trying to do to the US, and what Pierre Turd-owe tried to do to Alberta several decades ago.
I have to admit that the cadre running the Executive branch is fairly bright. By approving Keystone with a Canadian carbon tax, Turd-owe-with-a-Tan will torpedo the more conservative , PM Harper. In Canada, the Conservatives (liberal) will be attacked by the Lieberals (socialists) and Dippers (New Democratic Party - communists). In spite of a desire to raise taxes on the part of the Lieberals and Dippers, they will crucify the Conservatives for actually doing what they, themselves, wish to do, and will defeat the Conservatives in the next election.
With Lieberals and Dippers in charge, when Turd-owe-with-a-Tan suspends your Constitution, they will follow suit in Canada. I give the commies in the White Hut kudos for craftiness.
Any thoughts on this?
Why would Canada be so desperate? Why not just sell it to China which is trying to buy its way into the Canadian energy market.
I think they would stay separate. The tax requires congress and the pipeline does not.
I wonder how many years in Federal Prison a 100 Million dollar extortion charge would be worth.
