Not sure if you know the answer, others may. Is fire setting equipment and practices a normal police tactic? I know the Reno and Co. caused the fire at Waco but I don’t recall ever hearing about LEO’s purposely setting personal property on fire. If was the cabin owner I’d be damned pissed off.

I don’t really know, hopefully others will reply to this.

All I can say is the audio seems to very conclusively indicate the fire was intentionally set, part of a plan - *perhaps* the intent was to force him out.

I think it would prudent if the press or someone asked what the plan and intention was and go from there: whether this was a good or necessary plan, etc.

Judge Feess should revive the consent decree. There are too many public, overt instances of unprofessional acts on the part of the LAPD. When the consent decree, putting the LAPD under Federal management, was lifted, even the LA Times thought it was premature. The remedy to prevent further chaos and loss of innocent life, and probably property, is to bring back the consent decree. And the Court clearly and specifically retained jurisdiction when the decree was lifted.
If anyone is really concerned about Lt. Dorners War, they should write a letter to Judge Feess from the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The letter, if there is one, should come from a person residing in the Central District and request a hearing to investigate the LAPD and decide if the consent decree should be reimposed, cite specific publicly known acts of the LAPD,the illegality of these acts and the harm and injury suffered as a result of these acts. I helped an Native American(one of the poorest, uneducated drunken, Vietnam Veterans you could imagine, and my blood brother), write a letter to a Federal Judge. And we got an amazing letter in return. While the Judge is a liberal, he wrote an impeccable, articulate, reasoned response that was totally consistent with his role of Judge and gave us legal reasoning, not advice of course, that was flat out great.
Someone that writes such a letter, might post it, and send to an attorney or other fiduciary, after mailing just so the LAPD does not blast and burn his azz to ashes, of course.
