The police will probably say that fire just like tear gas is intended to smoke him out where they could take him into custody. The fact that he chose not to come out was his choice.

He wasn't worth another human's life, that for sure. Mainly my point is that the police be clear and accountable. If they set the fire, say so and describe the intention and plan and the options they felt they had.

I actually think they will do this. I believe it was the LAPD SWAT and the LAPD have indicated they are well aware of their past and desire to show they can be trusted.
