While most were relieved to learn that the bloody manhunt for Christopher Dorner had come to an end, for some it was the final step in the the fugitive ex-LAPD officer's martyrdom. During the manhunt, thousands of people rallied around Dorner, declaring him a crusader against police corruption, though he's accused of killing four people. On Tuesday night, a post on one of his biggest Facebook fan sites declared, "The spirit of Chris #Dorner will live on forever in our hearts, as an eternal flame - symbolic of the will to stand up in an attempt to eradicate those who would seek to oppress us, by any means necessary, when no one else would." Fueled by the claim in Dorner's manifesto that he was dismissed when he tried to report police brutality, as well as the movielike quality of his war on the LAPD, the ex-cop was quickly dubbed a hero by some. Earlier this week, dozens of Dorner flyers imitating the iconic Obama "HOPE" poster were plastered on a street in Riverside, California, near where a police officer was fatally shot on Thursday. Online supporters frequently referred to him as the "Dark Knight" and shared relevant Batman quotes. Hashtags like #WeStandWithDorner and #GoDornerGo appeared on Twitter, and dozens of fan pages were created on Facebook. The largest, We Are All Chris Dorner, has attracted more than 3,600 likes.

Frustrated losers who are still angry about having to graduate from diapers to big-boy pants.
Agreed... and it’s sickening.
Wrong. If he was a black conservative against gun control - rather than a black LIBERAL FOR gun control - the MSM would barbeque him...
Not that I agree with them but I understand the thought process. I have watched the LAPD for years. They are by far the most corrupt force on the West Coast. Pinning crimes on innocents is their SOP. Many a poor person is in prison in Kalifornia because to LAPD deciding that they need to get arrest and convicition numbers up. It is ingrained in the culture of SoCal that the LAPD is just another gang with the power of the law behind them. Many fear the PoPo more than the local ganbangers.
It is a very sad situation. Civilization crumbling around the edges. The deliberate execution of Dorner will only reinforce the feelings about the Cops.
Good catch dfwgator...not that the little effers at MSNBC are biased or anything... or CBS, ABC, and CNN. None of them mentioned it, right? Charming.
New York Times - step up to the plate...
Disaffected blacks have been shooting cops for a long time. Listen to “Crazy Blues”, a song that originally goes back to 1921. The last stanza is the pay off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFhW5jqITH4
The LAPD may have created a martyr.
People blur the issue. After the LAPD rampage, much of the support for Lt. Dorner is distrust and fear of the LAPD.
TWB
Incorrect. They wouldn't portray him at all. Black-on-black violence isn't news.
And this naval genius tries to steal a boat but gets the rope wrapped around the rudder.
And his war plan against the LAPD was to kill two unarmed civilians, two officers from another jurisdiction, and then run for the hills.
Yeh real genius and real hero
I think you underestimate the alienation of a large segment of the black community, an alienation nutured by people like Soledad O’Brien, Sissy Matthews, Barack Obama, Jesse Jackass and Al Sharptongue.
These parasites feed off of black resentment and white guilt. Most Freepers refuse to play, but this the world we live in.
They do seem to have calmed down a bit though.
Savage was correct years ago when he said Liberalism is a mental disease, the more I study them the more I believe it.
What is up is down in their view.
Except the MSM doesn’t recognize any’such thing as a black conservative so they would still find a way to blame white oppression for this monster.
Liberalism is proof “your” head is NOT screwed on right..
there is something deeply wrong with you... or them..
i.e. neighbors, relatives, friends, group members..
BUT worse there is something WRONG with YOU for collaborating with them..
