Well, he actually did talk to an editor of a refusenik newsweekly (Newsweak) who had refused even to run a story about the case of Jesse Dirkhising, who was tied to a mattress and sodomized by a pair of homosexuals for three days, until he died of suffocation from being continuously bound in the "crucifixion" position.
The Newsweek editor, cornered in a parking garage and speared with the question of why his magazine hadn't covered the story, replied, "It didn't resonate." IOW it wasn't part of the homosexual media campaign that was all about Matthew Shepard and Philadelphia and AIDS.
They don't give a rat's ass about anything but their propaganda campaigns, and neither do the homos who are attacking the Church -- think they care for those diddled and defiled boys? They'd do worse.
