So taking a sip of water for a dry throat is considered a sin in liberalland, but a stream of lies and BS by Obama was okay? If the sip of water was the worst that the liberals could find in Rubio’s speech, he did great. Rubio had to give them something to whine and twitter about…
Do not let the media waste our time. Some one needs to go on one of these shows and blast them up one side and down the other. The country is falling apart and this is news!
The only thing I wonder is why he didn’t have his water where he could pick it up and take a drink without losing his place. What made him look stupid was leaning out of the frame to grab the bottle.
The only thing worse than libs obsessing about Rubio drinking water is when conservatives fall into the liberal trap and start obsessing over rebutting the stupid liberal garbage. Stuff like this is best ignored, responding to it only prolongs its life in the news cycle.

Personally I think he wasted a golden opportunity .... he was given a prime time national audience and a chance to make a memorable speech. But instead of taking advantage of the situation all he did was stand there and drink water. I’m glad I didn’t stay awake to watch this water drinking marathon. /S

This is how the press works. They don’t engage ideas. They find ways to fill newsprint and airtime that avoid engaging ideas.
It gives the appearance and the look and feel of information-delivery without actually delivering information.
It also reminds me of how the press behaved when the word came down to abandon Howard Dean, when he was the front runner for president. They seized on an exuberant “whoop” during a ralley and in lockstep unison they swept him into the abyss so fast his head spun. No one I know of questioned the way that all of the press organs turned on him so fast, so completely, and with identical cover stories.
I began to notice during the Clinton years how, as you clicked channel to channel, talking heads would be using exactly the same buzz words, exactly the same phrases, delivering exactly the same spin and exactly the same list of talking points. You could click from one to another and it was the same right down to the exact choice of words.
I still see it every time I tune in to this day, which is why mostly I don’t bother. The more you give them access to your brain, the less you know. You’ll know more, the more you avoid them.
Rubio is using capitalism against the freaks who despise capitalism. He is rubbing it in these frauds face by selling bottled water for a campaign contribution.
The lefty media is ticked off only because that water wasn’t spiked with red Kool Aid......If it had been Rubio’s thirst would be a non issue.

The RNC did put out a good rebuttal to Charlie Rangle making fun of Rubio. It was the exact kind of response that they need to do every single time a Republican is attacked. It went something like —who cares what Charlie Rangle thinks, he never saw an ethics violation he didn’t like. Shut Charlie right on up. Need to do the same thing with Reid. Come back with something about his shady land deals and so on.
Hey, lets remember Ted Kennedy set the standard for water use in the Senate; it’s for drowning young girls and mixing with Scotch.
