And for anyone that likes “older” works of Stephen King, before he went off the rails in every book, check out Mr. Cronin’s books. He spins some great tales.

He sure does!

I thoroughly enjoyed this post-apocalypse novel and will soon pick up the sequel. And I don't think he needs to worry about his teaching job. "The Passage" was optioned to Ridley Scott's production company for a cool million.

Since the site has been down for a while it took me a bit to remember to log on. Anyway, I don’t know if you are in to the horror/fantasy genre, but there is a company that is did Cronin’s books (The Passage, and The Twelve) as a limited and signed edition. And they will be doing the next book in the series from what I understand.

It is out of print, but they do publish many authors that sound like they could fit your reading style. They’ve also done several King limiteds as well as Bradbury and Blatty. They really do fantastic work with books, and they look great on the shelves. No, I don’t work for them, but I really appreciate a good looking and sturdy book that I can read multiple times, and will last well beyond my lifetime.
