My sister is having a hard time getting her W2 Form from a school system in Louisiana. When she told the receptionist at the school board office what she needed, the receptionist asked, “What’s a W2 Form?”
A black clerk gave my sister a W2 Form with a man’s name on it. When my sister said she couldn’t use that to file her tax, the clerk said, “Well, it’s got the right SS number on it doesn’t it? Go ahead and use it.”
It’s been 2 weeks and 2 trips to the school board office later, and my sister still cannot get her correct W2 Form. What should she do? I told her to contact her union lawyer.
Skip the lawyer...contact the IRS. That covers your sis and starts the audit from hell for the school district. Wouldn’t hurt to contact her state representative.
Contact the IRS. These people are interfering with the income tax system.
