COLUMBIA, S.C. (WISTV) Five people are in the hospital after a shooting outside a club very early Saturday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. at the T and T Uptown Lounge, located at 3003 Colonial Drive.
Three men and two women were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Police said two of the shooting victims were in critical condition Saturday morning.
Preliminary information suggests that witnesses saw shots being fired from a car outside of the club, police said. There may have been an altercation at the club before the shooting, according to investigators.

I wonder how many law abiding citizens armed with so-called “assault weapons” participated in this shooting? Or was it a pack of feral thugs with throw down Saturday night specials fighting over some skank?

A lot of military there,... but my money is on an Amish drug deal gone bad. Amish always carry and they like to settle scores violently.

What color were they? Does this club cater to a black hang out or a white hand out?

Bad part of town, always has been. There have been club shootings and such in that area since I was a kid. Nothing new. Obama voters having some recreation, that’s all.

There’s another choice: SC football players! I bet Spurrier is busy trying to find out where his “kids” were at the time.

Yep.
Imagine if it was white people shooting black people. Why is there no outrage over blacks shooting blacks? I don’t understand.

You beat me to it...clearly, the Amish and the club scene just don’t mix.

Yep, in some neighborhoods it’s just not a good night on the town/family reunion/middle school graduation party/Stop The Violence rally until there’s some gunplay.

Good comment on the original story:
"If there was a particular group of people in this country who consistently and continually injured themselves and others - in fact murdered people -
with can openers, would we outlaw all can openers? Take them away from the far greater number of people in this country who understand how to use can openers,
use them everyday, keep them out of the hands of children and the mentally incompetent? Tell me again how this is a "cultural thing." No Snitch Rule applies.

Hey, Wally Bert. I grew up in Shandon, attended Dreher and USC. I live in the mountains of NC now, but still consider Columbia my hometown. Nice to meet you! You live out NE way, do you?

MY son is at USC and crime is awful in Columbia!! The usual state capital crap. One of his friends was held up at gunpoint at a gas station coming home from work late one night. He was robbed and once he reported it to the Columbia police, they accused him of soliciting the guy who robbed him for sex! Never bothered to look for the robber
Story after story I hear on a weekly basis of the incompetence of that police force. The best one was the SC head of tourism who committed suicide.... They "looked" for his killer for days after finding his car in the work garage...where he always parked it. Gee whiz Barney, the smell from the closet next to his parked car didn't tell you anything? Oh and neither did the suicide note he left in his desk.....his unlocked desk. I don't know whether it is cops who don't give a rats rear or the liberal run police force. Well, one leads to another.
