That’s true. 0bama funked that part up.

Reminds me of my Libtard PETA aunt I saw at the funeral this week. Sandhill Cranes are apparently now legal to hunt in KY with a permit of around 200 if she’s correct. PETA organized a drive to buy up all the permits. I told her you realize since the permits won’t be filled they will probably double next year. She got this OMG look an her face and didn’t say another word. LOLOLOLOL!!!!

Lot’s of AK ammo is available here though expensive.

What I don’t understand is the .22LR shortage.
There is none.
The is a sign on the local FFL’s door “NO .22LR, Don’t Even Ask!!”

Is DHS squirreling away .22lr?
I doubt it.

It seems to just be a run on the market.

I ordered some 308 from Freedom Munitions on Dec. 30.

It shipped Friday.

Also I can’t find any 22 mag anywhere. I got 1000 rounds a few weeks ago, but now its all gone.

A friend of mine drug me out EARLY in the morning yesterday.

We went through about 150 rounds of 7.62x54r, 50 rounds of 9mm, and about 24 rounds of 9x18mak. (it was cold out there or I would have stayed longer.)

The more I shoot my Hi Point 9mm carbine the more I just love it. It is so damn easy to shoot and accurate!
(It'll probably send me to the poor house spraying all that 9mm.)

I don’t understand the 22 shortage at all.
I shot lots of it today.

How much was the .308?
That has been impossible to get.

I don’t get the .22LR shortage either. Glad I bought some in bulk last summer for Pistol League.

I wonder if they will drop the rimfire round? Or centerfire for that matter. Seems like 0bama will piss off even more than he intended.

Those 9mm carbines are a hoot! It’s like a .22 with a thump.

308 Win 150 gr. SPBT New Box of 20 $18.29

Freedom has/had a great price but they are really behind on shipping. They even called me a couple of times to see if I still wanted it or something different. They have great customer service.

Evening, caught some of the show this afternoon, last part of the second hour, Tom makes a sad prediction. The Dorner events In Cal. will be a new FBI Miami shootout and will cause more militarization of the police. Police will ask for RPG’s and armed drones.

I got up not so early and headed out to meet FReepers NYTexan, BuckeyeTexan and Buckeyes Son.

We met up for major southern breakfast including chicken fried steaks, and then headed to the range.

The weather was grand, 70-72, but windier than I would have liked.
The place was packed with familys, BBQing, shooting the breeze and shooting everything from from class III to tannerite.

Much fun was had by all,

Took my daughter in law and her mother out today to shoot. Seems they both want a firearm for home protection. Not CCW, maybe later. Both are noobs. I have hanguns and shotties of most every caliber and type and I wanted them to see what they felt comfortable with.

For simplicity they both locked onto revolvers. They felt SA’s too complicated and slides were too hard.

Prolly going to go buy 3” or 4” Ruger or Smith 6 round revolvers. They liked my J Frames, but decided the bigger rosco’s were easier to aim and had more capacity.

Mother and daughter’s eyes lit up when I told them 7 shot revolvers that weren’t horribly big were also avwilable.

OH NO I did not. I did take the new Taurus 991 Tracker out for the first time today though and went through 200 rounds.

My goodness that thing is fun to shoot. No hiccups at all and grouped like a match contender. 9 round cylinder, adjustable rear sight for W & E. I’m really liking that revolver.

That is a good price for hunting rounds.
Guys were paying $40 a box last month and then there was none to be found.

Gosh I hope we get some milsurplus in the future.
By .308’s haven’t been shot in a very long time.

Looks like a sweet lil' carbine. How's the reliability and ease of breakdown?

Lucky dog.

We had 12 degrees F. My finger tips started feeling frostbitten in about 10 minutes.

We were definitely the first on the range. Started heating the barrels up just before sunrise!
