Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Saturday panned a reported immigration reform proposal from President Obama, saying it would be “dead on arrival” in Congress.
“If actually proposed, the President’s bill would be dead on arrival in Congress, leaving us with unsecured borders and a broken legal immigration system for years to come,” said Rubio in a statement.
His response followed a report in USA Today on Saturday which said the Obama administration has prepared a draft plan that includes a provision to allow illegal immigrants to obtain green cards within eight years.
The proposal would create a “Lawful Prospective Immigrant” visa to allow holders to work and travel after undergoing a criminal background check and paying fees. After eight years under the visa, an immigrant could apply for legal permanent residency as a green card holder.

Well Gee Marco if the President’s plan is so dead why will it leave a hold for years. Where is yours that is so much better. Propose it and get it passed.
Does it really matter?
We are going to continue to be invaded no matter whose plan is passed, and we will continue to bear the burden of these invaders.
Round up ALL illegals and send em back from where they came

Rubio wants to claim "a win" for the GOPe with his own plan that is just as bad.
That’s my guess too.
He’s got a proposal out. He’s been on tv for weeks discussing the requirements, and there are major differences between thi leaked plan and his outline.
It is time for solutions and positive action and all you and your ilk do is piss and moan!
