Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez returned home to Venezuela early Monday after more than two months of medical treatment in Cuba following cancer surgery.
Chavezs return was announced in a series of message on his Twitter account, saying we will continue our treatment here.
Weve arrived once again in our Venezuelan homeland. Thank you, my God!! the first of the three messages said.

BTW, the real FUn will begin the moment he expires. Why? Because Chavez named his vice-president, Nicolas Maduro, as his successor. However, according to the Venezuelan constitution, the president of the National Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, becomes president when Hugo dies. He remains as president until the next election is called which has to take place within a certain time period. I don't see Cabello calmly relinquishing the presidency to Maduro just because Chavez named him as successor. Thus a big power struggle between the two Chavistas. It will be VERRRRRRY interesting to watch the fireworks.

The real fun begins after Hugo kicks the bucket and the power struggle begins. Actually it is already quite funny to watch Maduro and Cabello pretend to be the best of pals when you know that each is plotting to shove the other to the side.

Still don’t understand why Baraq didn’t bring him here for medical care. Hugo provides discount heating oil for Massachusetts. I’m sure Joe Kennedy would hook him up with a good doc or two.
