The United Teachers of Dade announced Thursday that its members had elected its secretary/treasurer to lead the organization.
Fedrick Fed Ingram, a native Miamian and former Miami-Dade teacher of the year, netted just under 51 percent of some 7,000 votes cast in Tuesdays elections and beat out four competitors to win the $134,000 job outright. Ingram, 39, will take over in May as just the third president in the last half-century when current President Karen Aronowitz steps down.

He is the unions first African-American president, which Ingram said he looks at as a community achievement.
The bigger issue is were a collective unit of voices under one organization that is as diverse as the city we live in, he said. Its just another significant sign to progress in our union, in our city and in our state.
The union announced Ingrams victory about 5 a.m. Thursday, more than 36 hours after workers began counting nearly 7,000 votes - all of which Ingram was present for, he said. Malfunctioning Scantron readers were blamed for the delay, which led some candidates Wednesday to ask a judge to halt the vote-counting so that the process could be resumed under the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections.
The judge refused, and on Thursday the candidates withdrew their lawsuit, according to their attorney.
Oooh, and look at what is really boiling the union teachers’ blood: THEIR INSURANCE PREMIUMS ARE GOING UP! BWA HA HA HA HA HA!
...The group called for teachers to vote for new leaders in the union. The group said, it's time for a change and time to bring in a new administration, with hopes that it will possibly bring in higher salaries and lower their health care cost.
One Teacher who supports the change, Larcenia Dixon said, "My health care insurance was going to go up an additional $250 per month. I was already paying $600 per month and I had to make a choice. So, I had to choose to get rid of it, because I couldn't afford the cost of living..."
Hmmm . . . that's a hefty bill for insurance; $6,600 per year. I wonder if that is due to the union bosses skimming the premiums?
Teachers are useless, worthless, treasonous, collectivists who are incompetent. Note, however, that they are supremely competent in inculcating values leading to cultural devolution, particularly in minority areas.
Note carefully that their “students” are in an annual decline in terms of real knowledge mastered by graduation.
In what other ‘profession’ are the bottom ten percent of the IQ spectrum paid for ever diminishing quality of job performance?
And, might this unworthy one inquire of the ‘educators’ as to the reason they have chosen declared Libtard collectivists as leaders for generations?
