I asked this on another thread, but I wanted ask it here:

I realize this may be a dumb question, and I’m fully prepared to receive a rhetorical boot to the head (adjusts helmet).

But with regard to all this new gun legislation, won’t it all be stopped in the House of Representatives?

I mean given the rock ribbed adherence to Liberty by the likes of John McCain (pausing for laughter) we really shouldn’t have to worry about the Senate as well… but

Bottom line, how much danger are we in?

At least for now, won’t the House of representatives be a stop gap for the Socialists?

One thing you have to understand about leftists is that, unless actually STOPPED, they will NOT STOP.

We, as descent human beings, see limits on what we can and should do to others; there are boundaries that we inherently do not cross and expect others to comply with the same standards - but they don’t and won’t.

One of the bad offshoots of gun regulation is the fact that some states (like mine) have caught the bug.

If the feds don’t get us our states will.

There are currently 51 gun bills being discussed in Maryland by liberal crapheads, and one or two of them are almost bound to pass. Look at New York.
